Carrie Underwood - Carnival Ride, new cd Carrie Underwood became the fourth American Idol winner in May of 2005, then released a new single, "Inside Your Heaven," which went straight to No. 1. She has an album in the works, due out in November of 2005.

Carrie Underwood Poster Girl for the Oklahoma

Carrie Underwood was selected by the state of Oklahoma to participate in their statewide literacy initiative for the 'Read Ya'll' poster campaign. These posters were funded by Underwood's hometown library system, The Eastern Oklahoma District Library system, and are distributed free of charge to every public, school, academic, and special library in the state of Oklahoma.
Underwood is the sixth cover subject since the campaign began in 2002. Previous campaigns included Governor Brad Henry and First Lady Kim Henry, Toby Keith, Kristin Chenoweth, James Garner, and Dana Dunbar, Oklahoman author.
