Carrie Underwood - Carnival Ride, new cd Carrie Underwood became the fourth American Idol winner in May of 2005, then released a new single, "Inside Your Heaven," which went straight to No. 1. She has an album in the works, due out in November of 2005.

Carrie Underwood and Phil Vassar at Lowe's Motor Speedway

Phil Vassar will appear Friday (May 26) on Live With Regis and Kelly from Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, N.C. He is scheduled to perform "Last Day of My Life," a single from Greatest Hits Volume 1. In other speedway activities, American Idol winner Carrie Underwood will headline a pre-race concert on Sunday (May 28). The 30-minute performance is included with admission to the Coca Cola 600. She will also sing the national anthem prior to the race. Underwood won the single of the year and top new female vocalist awards Tuesday (May 23) at the ACM awards in Las Vegas.
